It is the future. Humanity's self-destruction has been postponed by a chance encounter with an extraterrestrial species. Despite this, the continued existence of earthlings is of little consequence in a galaxy long-dominated by regimes of proud and powerful entities, particularly the dragons of the Gamezohan Empire. Theirs is an existance that dates back to the beginning of life as it is known today. It is on their homeworld of Gamezoha that a very old, very intelligent man plots the destruction of the galaxy. As his plan reaches it's culmination, long-stable kingdoms that span solar systems are shaken to their foundations. Far beyond the telluric borders of known space, hordes of oblivion claw at the doorway, eager to consume the last remaining spark of life in the universe. And our best hope for survival lives on a small blue planet in a minor spiral arm of the galaxy.

This is the story of a battle for existance, fought on many different levels by many different characters for many different reasons. In the final hours of the galaxy, those who choose to preserve life must do so at great personal cost, as will those who seek to change it.
