Chapters within The Book of Fluids are known for their notorious length. Perhaps the authors are having way too much fun writing their stories--or perhaps there's just a twinge of wanting to outdo each other, whatever. Clearly, by design, five hour long chapters, while sometimes fun to read, are often a pain to write.

And so, we have a new experiment--a side project, if you will. 5 Minute Fluid Tales take place in the Book of Fluids universe and feature the characters from within. Some happen within the story timeline, others before, and some are simply what-if scenarios.

There's only one rule for a five minute fluid tale: you must be able to read it in five minutes or less. Speedreaders need not apply--you'll be finished before you've even started.

The goal is that by generating these five minute shorts, we'll soon have a collection of intriguing tales--and perhaps further insight--into the BoF universe... even if it's a what-if scenario. Enjoy.
