Aggregate Twenty-One, the Chemical Soul Mirror, a drug designed by Dr. Franz Darian-Marik. It is a truth serum, intended to bring all of an individual's subconscious experiences to the surface of their consciousness. However, in Phase 1 clinical trials, it was discovered that the serum actually brought all the darkest, most suppressed parts of the psyche to the surface, often making said individual extremely violent. Nearly all samples were destroyed.

In Chapter 27, Nevin is charged by The Dragon to give the serum to Oscar Angeles to make him think it would reunite him with Joel Diablo. The serum actually siphons Joel's evil essence into Oscar, a transmutation which will eventually turn him into a demonic beast.
