A race of strong, beautiful and, according to narrative tradition, nearly naked warrior women, very similar in appearance to Humanoids, but with slight differences in build, dexterity, strength and, um, size. They are often known for their dominating nature and fierce battle skills, making them dangerous opponents in close range combat.
The Amazons inhabit numerous planets through the Salyra Ducat System and as such, have often found themselves at war with the evil self-proclaimed Duchess Salyra Roquelaure.
In Chapter 9, our heroes are captured by the Amazons after accidently bathing in The Sacred Lake of the Maidens. They soon learn of a prophecy regarding a savior--a Dragon, specifically (and unspecifically, Wernher Gauss)--who would bring about the downfall of the evil Salyra. Afterwards, a tribe leader, Chief Huntress Laissa, announced that, as per the prophecy, the dragon would impregnate her.
That part of the prophecy was left unfulfilled.
