Leopards (Panthera pardus) are one of the four 'big cats' of the genus Panthera. They range in size from one to just over two metres (6.5 ft) long, and generally weigh between 30 and 70 kg (65 - 155 lb).

Ass-Kicking is the pet leopard of Nike Gauss. It is well documented that Gamezohans love cats--and the bigger, the better. It's likely due to some sort of cultural attraction towards the predatory nature of 'big cats'.

Interestingly enough, black panthers are actually leopards born with melanism, an evolutionary mutation that causes the cats to have an increased amount of black pigmintation to the fur.
