ALIAS: The Nibelungen

In Norse mythology, dwarves were sometimes called the dökkálfar ("Dark elves"), though their appearance may or may not be similar to that of their elven counterparts. Dwarves are typically stout figures, similar in look to Humanoids but strong and skilled in battle, lore, smithing and beer drinking.

In Fluidology, the dokkalfar are a race of dwarves that lived on Earth in parts of what is now called the European Union. Fendegist and Jorgen were both friends of the mysterious creatures that lived in caves underground. They are typically friendly, but protective and will not hesitate to attack if threatened.

At some point in time, the dokkalfar of Earth took flight from the planet long before space travel was deemed possible and dispersed through the galaxy. The most notable concentration of dokkalfar exist behind a false singularity in the Khenteles System. They are known as the Hikari-No.

The dokkalfar are sometimes referred to as the Nibelungen, the result of years of confusion stemming from mixed interpretations of old Norse and German texts.

Because of their traits, the dokkalfar qualify as part of the Fae grouping of races, according to Fluidology.
