Jonathan Ebenezer Krigsley the Third

ALIAS: Jon, Saint Jonathan

Jon Krigsley is part of the quartet that make up the main heroes in The Book of Fluids. Formerly a lowly paladin, Jon becomes vital part for the success of our heroes.

Characteristics

Jon Krigsley stands slightly taller than average, with a shaved head and a crooked cross tattooed on the back of his neck. He's frequently seen wearing a monk's robe or a tabard with religious imagery. He's also equipped with a sword and buckler, both heirlooms from his past.

Jon has semi-magical abilities, some supernatural in nature, some pure magic. He sometimes has visions or dreams, their origins unknown. In Book I, he gains incredible strength and healing abilities. In Book III, Jon attains an enlightenment that isn't constantly accessible but can be revisited through meditation.

Jon is a devout follower of God and as such, he is often seen as a strong character with firm convictions, almost to the point of stubborness. He is wary of anything that differs from his beliefs, but learns a tolerance and eventually an understanding of the universe.

Background

Jon Krigsley was born in England, but raised in The Schwarzwald, a student within the Castle of the Seraphic Order. Trained by Gemmes Hendricks in the art of combat and the slight manipulation of properties of reality. He would eventually become a full-fledged member of the Seraphic Order of the Arthurian Knights of Ineffable Dogma.

Jon is sent by the leaders of the SOAKID to claim the 14MPOITU and agrees to join the heroes to help remove the object from Vincit Omnibus. He later becomes host to a nanovirus that, once manipulated, becomes the Miriam Nanobots, granting him incredible strength and healing abilities. He loses these abilities when the Miriam Nanobots leave his body to take on a Humanoid form.

Book II

Jon learns more about his ancestoral connection to Vincit and meets his ancestor, Jorgen. Soon afterwards, he is granted sainthood by The Pope and becomes the de facto leader of the SOAKID.

Book III

A freak accident transports Jon to the .br Temple of Sol where he is enlightened to the ways of the universe. He loses access to this enlightenment upon his return, but the knowledge stays with him in the form of his avatar, The Boar.

Additional Facts

Jon's sword was a gift to Jorgan from the Hikari-No, passed down through the generations.
