A Zardarkian Encyclopedia dealing with the more metaphysical elements of dragon culture. It has a large section about Ibifd Dragonslayer and telluric energy, as well as an analysis of other telluric manifestations, like Tellurian Condensate, the fae, the Zen Space Jelly and an appendix with a treatise on the Tinfoil Lady.
The system of theories that orient the systematization follow the Gamdoha-Kantonnen Hypothesis, perhaps the most controversial paradigm in draco-anthropology. It divides the Fundamental Principles of Mux, as separated prismatically, into nine essences, sharply divided by phase transitions. Each corresponds to a draconic house, and was named with the peculiar sense of humor of Lorenz Gamdoha. They are:
- Gauss: The Principle of Power Overwhelming
- Aberdash: The Principle of Great Justice
- Ticine: The Principle of Opposite to Bad Music
- Sphexoren: The Principle of the Lore of Love and Loss
- Gamdoha: The Principle of the Inviolate Order
- Dactylos: The Principle of Mortal Engine Clean
- Sawarren: The Principle of Dance Dance
- Rockthriller: The Principle of Manly!
- Saurin: The Principle of the Horror the Horror
Some excerpts from the book:
- "Entry 23. In most mythical narratives, there is a precise moment when sky and earth are separated. In one narrative, Indra plants the Tree of Life, and it sustains the sky. Indeed, in a lifeless universe, separation would not be conceivable, there would be no differentiation of the me and the not-me. (...) In classic Greek myth, Kronos emasculates his father Ouranos to keep him away from earth mother Gaia. Besides the obvious Oedipal motif, we can also draw a metaphor for historicity, the time-binding power of human intellect alone, to take on itself the task of sowing and reaping the fruit of the estrous earth, and also to initiate differentiation and hence, the world of phenonema. The hollow of the sky remains a Damocles sword of superego, a reminder of the incest intrinsic to this. (...) In one of the Genesis narratives, after the creation of the primal light (which coincides with the birth of goodness), the separation of "waters above and below" is used to create the firmament. Only then, the heavenly domain permanently apart from the earthly, it is possible to separate earth and water, i.e., yet another separation of good and evil, like boxes within boxes, or the echoes of godhood that spawned the Demiurge, according to the Gnostics. In Gussardism, which had Zarrothustrist and Gazraki influences, the sky and earth were separated by a tree, as well, but it was the Tree of Pain, planted by the shrike-simurgh, the Shrimurgh. This deity had us all pinned to the tree, writhing in our toil, while he fed from our works and efforts. The Shrimurgh's beautiful music is how it draws us to life, it is a symbol for the life drive, the desire to continue this miserable existence. The only thing the Shrimurgh fears is that we all die, or that we destroy the Tree of Pain, that is, the living world, and that is what Gussardist cultists sought to accomplish, via nuclear terrorism. They motto was "suicide is freedom, life is slavery, beneficence is death". (...) Finally, the Draconic separation of sky and earth is remembered in the flag of Gamezoha, a burst of light between the tempting void and the paradisiacal gardens of home. This "light" is the telluric wave spectrum that was divided into the nine types of dragons. But it was not the rainbow alone that brought about the separation of sky and earth; no, the precise moment is when Gauss-Gauss chooses for himself "the dragoness whose icy indigo eyes were pools of mystery and sadness" over the truthful steadfastness of the black dragoness, who stands for everything that, and only what, exists. Her exile is the pulling apart of sky and earth, the division between transcendent imagination and immanent reality (see Entry 51 for more on this duality). This is what was planned; the Most Great Archangel Sakaki, with his Lore of Nothingness, planted a dangerous seed of EƧaraia in both silver and black dragons, so they repel one another. They also made the God-Emperor's prime consort cold and perplexing, to keep his narcissistic lineage seduced by the Sky and dissatisfied with earthly affairs. This, it was hoped, would eventually draw fae and dragon to one another, by making them seek what was the natural element of the other. (...) The Reunion planned can't be a mere synthesis of silver and black back into Mux energy, but a wholly different type of event we can only glimpse as we continue our studies..."
