The microwave nanoreprogrammer is a device designed change the programming of nanobots, usually within creatures that carry them.

In Chapter 7, Jon Krigsley is infected by a nanovirus used by the Wendauerian military and the group has to infiltrate a secret Wendauerian base in Hungarden so Oscar Angeles can reprogram the nanobots to save Jon's life.

According to Oscar, a microwave nanoreprogrammer is so similar to a teleportation drive--so much so that a skilled Technomancer could effectively configure it to teleport people and/or things short distances.
