ALIAS: SOAKID, The Order

An order of Christian knights originating from the Schwarzwald, the SOAKID originated many years ago when Jorgen was given command of his tribe by his brother Fendegist. The tribe was converted by the Franks, and they became the SOAKID.

Years later, The Order would send one of their finest pupils, Jon Krigsley, to find the 14th Most Powerful Object In The Universe. At the time, The Order had possession of the 42MPOITU. During Jon's abscence, The Order collapsed under the influence of DAMOCLES and Moebius, only to regroup with the newly ordained Saint Jonathan Krigsley as their leader.

SOAKID holds a close association with their sister group, The Most Chaste and Holy Brides of the Warrior Christ. The Order is also a member of the Council of the Five Wounds.

It was said that the charter of the SOAKID was based on that of the Fidelis Templar.

The irony of an Arthurian order originating in Germany does not escape me.

In Graham Phillips and Martin Keatman's book ''King Arthur: The True Story'', they suggest that 'Arthur' was a title and identify its recipient as the Welsh prince Owain Danwyn from a passage in De Excidio Britanniae. Its author, Gildas, refers (in Latin) to Owain’s son, Cynlas, literally as "guider of the chariot which is the receptacle of the bear". 'Bear' in Brythonic is 'Arth', so Phillips and Keatman take this to infer that 'the Arthur' was Cynlas’ predecessor, known from the genealogies to be Owain.

So if Vinny can turn into something very similar to an Arcturian WolfBEAR and Jon is a SOAKID whose role as Seiðrman is to help guide Vinny... well, then, I must be Anaxerretibes.

Ah, and I thought I was just looking for a knightly word beginning with an A to make the soaked pun at the time. Should've trusted fluidology more.
