An underground paramilitary organization of fanatics dedicated to destroying the galaxy in a cataclysmic war, thereby fulfilling an ancient prophecy whereby the world is renewed and people will live free again.

In Norse mythology, Surtr is the leader of the fire giants in the south who will lead his hordes north to overwhelm the gods during Ragnarok.

SURTR Pits

Within SURTR, there are five categories of soldiers known as Pits. They include the following:

• Lore Delvers
• Doom Guards
• Twilight Zoners
• Dark Seekers
• Shadow Scorchers
