ALIAS: Silberwyrmritters, SWR

A military order to serve the Gamezohan Emperor. Unlike the Silver Dragoon Guard, whose components are all dragons, the Silberwyrmritters ("silver dragon paladins") are drawn from the most worthy and valiant members of other races in the service of the Empire. Exemplary was the great paladin Klot, who achieved great renown through sheer virtue and diligence. They are fanatically loyal to the Emperor, but not, it would appear, immune to corruption: by the time of the Republican Spasm, Moebius had somehow spread corruption within the order. The most valorous preferred death, but many Silverwyrmritters became Schwarzwyrmkommandos. Eçaraia is generally pointed out as one of the few powers that would be able to accomplish such corruption.

The order is undergoing some renovation with the restoration of imperial rule, but galactic turmoil hinders their return to their former magnificence.
