This is through to be a mark of God--a kind of evidence towards an individual being ideal to be a king in that they are inherintly just and will make the right choices as a ruler. As Vincit Omnibus is descended from a long line of kings, The Holy Fire runs strong through his veins. The blood has the power to destroy nanobots, in particular those of DAMOCLES and he doesn't taste very good to Vampires, according to Nevin.
