Once might consider this to be a kind of Mi-Go Messiah, if you will. Destined to bring about the return of Yog-Sothoth, the fully translated title reads Monster with the Eyes of a Darker Form of the Color of the Fourth Sun which, to us, basically means Monster with the Eyes of Crimson. In short, the Mi-Go are referring to Vinny.
