In Fluidology, there are many different types of vampire beyond what the kind of creatures commonly known as Nosferatu. Of these, perhaps Nevin is the closest related, having had direct experiences with the vampires of Earth.

Gamezohan Vampires

In Gamezohan lore, the vampire is almost considered an optional afterdeath, in particular for members of House Sphexoren and as evidenced in that of Count Vasdhra Sphexoren.

DAMOCLES Vampires

There are also vampires created to serve DAMOCLES. Unlike the Nosferatu, these undead have skin the color of midnight and are without their eyes, which are unnecessary. They have the ability to take on a few animal forms, like an albatross or a panther, and in advanced forms, can become The Black Fire which consumes and transforms victims into Black Skeletons.

Both Klot and Kara willingly gave of themself to DAMOCLES and are therefore classified as DAMOCLES vampires.
