Zardarkians are the wolf-like humanoids that call the planet Mathlar their home. They are noted for their dark furred bodies, brilliant red eyes and bushy tails, which are something of a sign of status in the Zardarkian culture. They also have the ability to see better and to detect certain emotions through smell.

Once a warlike race, the Zardarkians had endevored to become a peaceful species with invent of space travel. Because the planet of Mathlar lies in a non-strategic location, they've been able to remain neutral in all galactic conflicts.

The Zardarkians are better known for their production of quality watches, wallets and other non-offensive gadgetry.

Jake Omnibus is a full blooded Zardarkian. His son, Vincit Omnibus is half-Zardarkian.

A little known fact is that Zardarkian blood is a kind of universal blood type, compatible with most all other races throughout he known galaxy.
